Advent & Christmas

Details of the 2026 Advent and Christmas services will be published nearer to the time.

We always celebrate Advent and Christmas through a variety of services and groups to cater to our whole congregation.

Services include a Family Friendly Crib Service, Midnight Eucharist on Christmas Eve and an All Age Christmas Day Eucharist. We also offer House Chalk Blessings for the New Year at Epiphany. 

We hold or participate in Advent Home Groups either at St Mary’s or with Churches Together in Putney and Roehampton (CTiPR).

Musically, we host or attend a local ecumenical partner’s venue for the CTiPR Advent Carol Service at the beginning of Advent, as well as a separate Christmas Carol Concert before Christmas. 

At this time of year we also support different charities to those aided through the year by Parish Action. In 2025, we supported Schools for Matabeleland and Medair. If you’d like to suggest a charity to support in 2026, please email Rev’d John, (click here).
