(previously known as the 4Bs course)
Been coming to church and want to visit or revisit the foundations of our faith? Don’t know much about Christianity and would love to learn more? Thinking of getting Baptised or Confirmed? Would value time with a small group or adults exploring faith in an open, inquisitive, supportive way?
For adults wanting to explore faith or prepare for baptism, confirmation and reception into the Church of England. Thursdays, 7.30pm September 21st, 28th; October 5th, 12th, 19th; November 2nd and 23rd.
The course culminates with a confirmation service at St Mary’s WIMBLEDON on Sunday 26th November. For further info, please contact Rev’d John John.Whittaker@parishofputney.co.uk for further details.
Diocese of Southwark: Bishop’s Certificate
For those of you interested in further developing your faith the Diocese’s annual Growing in Faith and Life course usually takes place between September and June. Those who complete the course are awarded the Bishop’s Certificate in Discipleship. The six modules cover the Old and New Testaments; the history of the church and what it means to be Anglican; what Christians believe; living and praying as a follower of Jesus; and putting your future into God’s hands.
